The Weight Loss Surgery Group Ltd is a successful independent company, owned by its practitioners and like minded investors. Our team has many years of experience and the company has over 200 surgery and 400 aftercare patients.

We operate from many clinics across the country and administrative centres in Birmingham and Leeds.

4. have a patient forum and 24 hour helpline
5. have experts in aftercare, pregnancy after weight loss and nutrition
6. do not charge more for BMI over 50 (there is no reason for other providers to charge more!)
7. do not have ‘sales targets’, unlike other providers
8. do not have call centres; you always talk to one of our trained people
9. always provide quotations in writing, and
10. provide a full consultation and care plan for each patient.

Comprehensive Aftercare Programme

Our aftercare programme is second to none, since we believe it is crucial to finding the new you.

1. A post operation booklet on how to get the best outcome from your weight loss surgery
2. A Medical Identification Card and Gastric Band Adjusted Record Card
3. Access to our specialist bariatric nurse to offer expert medical advice and regular medical reviews
4. Access to a 24 hour emergency helpline
5. Access to our specialist bariatric nutritionist to offer expert nutritional advice on making the most of the procedure you have chosen to have
6. Weekly follow up calls and/or emails for the first 8 weeks, monthly thereafter and quarterly in the second year from our specialist bariatric team
7. Monthly 1-1 review appointments with the specialist bariatric nurse
8. Unlimited gastric band adjustments for 24 months for gastric band patients
   (3 adjustments in third year).
9. Access to your surgeon if clinically indicated
10. Access to our specialist fitness advisor – increase your physical activity to work with the procedure you have chosen to have
11. Access to our cosmetic surgeon specialising in body contouring after weight loss (free consultations available to discuss your cosmetic surgery needs)
