Excess skin

How much excess skin you have depends on you, your body and how much weight you lose. Every patient feels different about how they look when they get near to their goal weight. Some reach their goal and accept they have loose flesh and hide it well in very good underwear, however, others will want to go on and have it removed.

After losing 14 stone I guess I should of expected to have excess skin, I can feel bones in certain areas of my body but they are hidden under a tent of useless flesh!! It's been such a part of me for so long letting go of it is going to be an emotional journey, however, I am so ready for it!!

Mr. Walgenbach is one of Europe's leading figures in the highly competitive field of aesthetic and cosmetic surgery with extensive experience across the spectrum of cosmetic surgery, and especially in body contouring surgery. A new evolving speciality following significant weight loss after gastric banding or bypass.
