"I have only used your services once so far, for a band fill. I just wanted to say, that I found Wendy to be a very caring and professional person. Her professional judgment of how much to fill my band was spot on! I now have a steady weight loss. She achieved this by asking lots of questions, and then drawing on her experience to get it just right. I found Wendy to be a real people person. She asked lots of questions about my life, my habits and family life. This made me feel both cared for and genuinely understood. I knew I was speaking to a person that understood it was necessary to look the whole picture to help understand a person."

"Everything went very well for me. I have no complaints about my surgery or before and after care. I would just like to pass on a few suggestions to help others. I travelled alone and fetched a holdall weighing 10lbs when i got off the plane i had to follow an airport worker to customs everybody rushed off after her leaving me struggling with my bag. I WOULD LIKE YOU to alert others as i am quite fit and healthy and thought the bag would be no trouble (i got assistance and got home fine) also I have tried to buy the waterproof dressings I need and have found chemists dont keep them in stock also they only sell by the box cost £75 which came as a shock, so could you pass on this to other patients (YOU CAN BUY THEM EASILY OVER THE COUNTER IN BRUGGE). YOU CAN BREATHE NOW NO MORE COMPLAINTS. I would just like to thank Colleen for her help and support the experience was very good an excellent team of medical and support wokers .I would recommend you anytime once again thankyou . "

"Just had my second fill with Wendy. I had some questions about how I should feel and she was SOOOO patient with me. She answered all my questions and showed genuine concern and caring. I've also spoken to Michelle over the phone and she was wonderful too. I didn't think aftercare was so important, until I needed it! Just to have someone at the end of the phone is reassuring. It helps to have someone guide you through the process. Thank you all at W.L.S. and job well done!!!"

A friend recommended WLSG and told me they do fills in Dublin so I thought I would give them a call, when I called I spoke to a very nice helpful women who told me they did do fills in Dublin and give me some more details, I decided to book a fill and was given a date of 11th June in Dublin "

"I arrived to Dublin and was met by Wendy and found her to be the most helpful and plesant person I have dealt with in my experience with getting my gastric band fitted. Wendy explained everything to me in detail, things that I was never told before, she didnt rush things she took her time and made sure i understood everything."

"My only regret with getting my Gastic Band fitted was not using WLSG from the start.
I would recommend this company to everyone, service is 1st class. "

I am now 2 weeks post op.

I fought long and hard to get the NHS to send me to Belgium and I thank God that I did.
I have never felt so well.

The experience was nowhere near as scary as I thought it would be although I am sure I came close to a cardiac arrest whilst waiting to go into theatre! The pain was a bit uncomfortable coming round and so was coming out of the anaesthetic (gross) but after that it was plain sailing and I have to say, since coming home, I have simply gone from strength to strength.

I have not injected insulin since the day I went into hospital.

I am sick of the liquid diet but not craving anything really apart from one large greasy cheeseburger and I am sure that will go in time.

My stomach feels so normal I was originally concerned that Dr. D. had peered inside me and said "Oooh I'm not putting my hands in there!!" and closed me up again. If it wasn't for the fact that my pouch reacts violently to anything with sugar in it (as I found to my cost when trying out Weight Watchers Low Fat Mousse!! ) I wouldn't know I had had any surgery.

I want to mention here that although you chaps do this for a living and its probably all in a day's work to you, the benefits to your patients are huge and overwhelmingly beneficial.  I have been away from Brugge for a week and already I feel a new lease of life. My head is clearer, my joint pains are lessened, I can reach parts of me even Heineken couldn't!! I feel tremendously well and am simply looking forward to the rest of my life (which will probably be a lot longer now courtesy of Dr. Dillemans).

I defy anyone to say they are not scared to death before this operation but must say that it was a pleasure to have Dr. Dillemans operate on me; I felt 100% confident in his abilities and his lovely personable treatment and kindness will never be forgotten. He was down to earth, freindly and not what one has come to expect of surgeons/consultants these days. (Most of the ones I have seen in the UK are rude/short with you, talk over what you are saying, don't listen and talk down to you in absolute gobbledegook!). He had a twinkle in his eye every time I met him, his attention was constant, he listened to my fears (though he must have heard the same a thousand times before) AND he talked to me like an equal.

In fact everyone I came into contact with at the hospital was kind and helpful and professional. The nursing was wonderful and I was impressed at how wonderfully efficient (AND CLEAN) everything seemed. Everyone seemed happy in their work and I was made most comfortable.

Thank you so much. You have made my life worthwhile again and changed my future for ever. I cannot thank you enough.

Well had my fill with Wendy today. As usual she was so understanding of my situation and did not make me feel bad about my bad food choices as of late.

She gave me such helpful advice and I really feel that I can achieve what I started out to with this band.

I am soooooooo glad I went with WLSG they are so great!

She actually is doing a really good offer on extending the aftercare package wich I am considering since I have not reached my goals yet.

Even though I am lagging behind I know that I will get to the goal!
