Samantha, aged 17, spent months in her bedroom – she was so upset at being overweight that she would rarely venture out of the house. On a day trip to Alton Towers in August last year she struggled to fit in any of the seats on the rides and it was after this terribly upsetting day that her mum Cerri and her grandmother Brenda, took the situation into their own hands and started gathering all the information needed regarding weight loss surgery for Samantha.

Samantha has lost over 2.5 stones so far and hasn’t even had her gastric band adjusted yet …………..

Mother Cerri, a bandee of 5 years was also awarded a 12 month Flexible Aftercare package.
